WWDC 2020: Apple releases supported hardware list for macOS Big Sur

If you’re curious as to whether your Mac is recent and/or cool enough to run macOS Big Sur upon its release, the device support list is out.

Long story short, if your Mac is from 2013-2014 or later, you can run it.

The list goes as follows:

  • Macbook (2015 and later)
  • MacBook Air (2013 and later)
  • MacBook Pro (2013 and later)
  • Mac mini (2014 and later)
  • iMac (2014 and later) iMac Pro
  • (all models) Mac Pro (2013 and later)
