These might come in handy.

Apple on Tuesday launched new international versions of its Smart Keyboard accessory for iPad Pro previously only available in a U.S. English layout.

The new international Smart Keyboards now offer localized layouts including British English, French, Spanish, Korean, Italian and Arabic, among others.

The keyboards include localized differences, including support for the right-to-left Arabic language setting. Apple earlier this year debuted a new Arabic version of Apple.com with right-to-left reading support and it previously introduced comprehensive right-to-left language support for iOS with iOS 9.

The good news is that Pokemon Go was just updated to version 1.1.1 and includes some bug fixes.

The bad news is that a fair number of people on Reddit think this version marks the beginning of the end times and aren’t happy with it.

Still, that’s kind of par for the course with Reddit.

Either way, Pokemon Go has just hit version 1.1.1 and includes the following fixes and changes:

It’s not the most groundbreaking development in the world, but if you’re traveling to Prague, this could come in handy.

Apple has expanded its Maps transit directions for the Czech capital of Prague, returning focus to the app’s European users after a stretch of concentrating on the U.S.

Riders visiting Prague can use Maps to navigate the city’s various buses, railways, and tramways. Options include trips to a number of places well outside the city core, such as Kladno.

Well, at least the world of tech security isn’t boring.

Upon examining disk images taken from the most recent version of the app, iOS researcher Jonathan Zdiarski discovered that the software retains and stores a forensic trace of the chat logs even after the chats have been deleted, creating a potential treasure trove of information for anyone with physical access to the device. The same data could also be recoverable through any remote backup systems in place.

In most cases, the data is marked as deleted by the app itself — but because it has not been overwritten, it is still recoverable through forensic tools. Zdziarski attributed the problem to the SQLite library used in coding the app, which does not overwrite by default.

Apple knows exactly what it wants in terms of negotiations.

And it might just be getting in the way in terms of setting up an Apple TV streaming service.

The company’s “assertive” negotiation tactics have apparently made it difficult to establish and lock deals with various cable providers and networks.

Apple started talking with the Walt Disney Company in early 2015 about getting Disney-owned content onto its then-planned streaming television service, but Apple executives, iTunes chief Eddy Cue in particular, made demands networks were not prepared to meet.

Apple could still be working on a car project, but could be taken it in a new direction.

Bob Mansfield, the Apple executive who led up efforts on the iMac, iPad, MacBook Air and Apple Watch, has apparently been put in charge of Apple’s car project. Mansfield’s first action has been to hire former BlackBerry developer Dan Dodge, who arrives at Apple with an extensive operating system development background.

Mansfield apparently tapped Dodge to work on autonomous driving software for Apple’s car division, code-named Project Titan, signaling that the company is pivoting from building its own car to making the tech that will power the next generation of cars. Or, more likely, Apple is covering all of its bases and seeing whether hardware, software, or a combination of both will succeed.
